Ocean’s Legacy Warranty Policy
Ocean’s Legacy is dedicated to supplying products of the highest quality. Our products are extensively tested prior to manufacturing and we have stringent quality control policies in place to ensure that the products are produced to the highest quality.
All Ocean’s Legacy products, purchased from authorised resellers, are covered for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase for the original purchaser.
Ocean’s Legacy warrants the covered products to be free of any manufacturing defects. Ocean’s Legacy will repair or replace the product at its discretion within the warranty period at no cost to you other than shipping charges incurred to and from our service agents.
Warranty Does Not Cover
  • Products purchased from non-approved retailer
  • Products that have been subjected to alterations or modifications
  • Damage caused by negligence, lack of maintenance, accident or abuse
  • Damage to rods caused by usage with heavier than recommended line rating, cast weight or lure weight ratings
  • Damage to rods caused by boat rod holders, car doors, fractures or poor storage of products
  • Usage of products other than its intended use
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Commercial or rental use
How to claim
To make a claim, please take your product back to your original Ocean’s Legacy authorised retailer for it to be assessed by an Ocean’s Legacy representative.

  • Photos of the product and damage
  • Description of the fault
  • Proof of purchase
Expeditor Warranty
Ocean’s Legacy rods are also covered by a 12 month expeditor warranty. This warranty is only available to the original purchaser when the rod is purchased through an authorised retailer.
Expeditor warranty is a “No Questions Asked” warranty. All you need to claim is present your original proof of purchase with the damaged rod at an authorised retailer. If you are unable to get to an authorised dealer, you can reach out to [email protected] to lodge your claim. You will need to post the original proof of purchase along with the decal section of the Ocean’s Legacy rod that identifies both the brand and model number.
During this period, the expeditor warranty replacement rod can be purchased at 50% off the Ocean’s Legacy RRP price at the time of the claim.
Please note that all freight cost involved in the process of claiming expeditor warranty will be at the customers expense.
Australian Consumer Laws for Australian Consumers
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
