Gido is a passionate angler, adventurer, and content creator based in the South Coast region of Albany, Western Australia. Known for his popular YouTube channel, Gido's Fishing Adventures, he has built a strong following by showcasing some of Australia's most challenging and remote land-based fishing locations. With a background in rock climbing, Gido is able to safely access rugged ledges and untapped fishing grounds that few anglers dare to explore. Specialising in targeting monster grouper and powerful yellowtail kingfish from the stones, he continually pushes both himself and his tackle to the limit. As a sponsored angler and product tester for Ocean's Legacy, Gido plays a vital role in evaluating gear under some of the harshest real-world conditions, helping ensure every product meets the demands of serious anglers.
Mick Hassett - Mick's Gone Fishing
Mick Hassett, better known as Mick's Gone Fishing, is a passionate and dedicated angler whose love for the sport has taken him across some of Australia's most productive fishing destinations. With years of experience targeting a wide range of species both inshore and offshore, Mick has built a reputation for sharing genuine fishing knowledge, practical techniques, and unforgettable on-water adventures. Whether he's chasing pelagic speedsters offshore or sharing his latest fishing experiences with his growing audience, Mick's enthusiasm for the sport is evident in everything he does.
Daniel Sim
Daniel, part of the Compleat Angler Nedlands Team started fishing when he was only 4 years old and has been fishing Ocean’s Legacy gear since before the first rods were in production. Dan specialises in inshore and offshore jigging and casting and utilises the majority of the Ocean’s Legacy range to tame all sorts of prized sportsfish, from jigging for Dhufish and Bass Grouper to casting at Tuna and Giant Trevally!
Eli Mitter
Eli is a passionate Western Australian angler whose enthusiasm for fishing is matched by his extensive industry experience. Having spent many years working at AFW in Fremantle, Eli has developed a deep understanding of tackle, techniques, and the evolving needs of modern anglers. His hands-on experience across a wide range of fishing disciplines, combined with his strong product knowledge, makes him a valuable member of the Ocean's Legacy testing team. Brody Ogle
Born and raised down south before making Exmouth home, Brody is a passionate angler who spends every opportunity chasing fish across Western Australia's incredible coastline. A true blue Aussie with a deep love for the sport, he's particularly enthusiastic about slow pitch jigging and has developed extensive experience targeting a wide range of species using the technique.
When he's not working a jig through the water column, Brody can often be found casting topwater lures at hard-fighting pelagics, putting both his skills and tackle to the test. His time on the water, dedication to the craft, and passion for fishing make him a valuable member of the Ocean's Legacy testing team.
